Welcome Road Winery

Located in Seattle’s laid-back West Seattle neighborhood, Welcome Road Winery is for fun-loving wine drinkers who appreciate French winemaking tradition and unpretentious Pacific Northwest spirit.  

We start with outstanding fruit from some of the best grape-growers in Yakima Valley, including the great folks at Dineen Vineyards and Marcela Vineyard – who both are certified sustainable. Yakima Valley’s arid climate, rocky landscape, and ample sunshine make for fantastic grape-growing conditions. 

Our name and wine labels reflect the great outdoors that inspired our winery. Welcome Road is named for a road near Mount Baker where we have a little cabin. We love hanging out on the back deck with friends, grilling and drinking wine after a day on the mountain.  

We are the epitome of a boutique, urban winery – making just 1000 cases of wine per year. We were inspired to start a winery after visits to wine country throughout France and eastern Washington. 

Our Wine Room is a destination for Seattle locals and visitors alike to hang out, celebrate and chill with a tasting flight or glass paired with local cheese on the patio. Sometimes there is karaoke. Sometimes there is a corn hole tournament. Always there are friendly people – often with a dog or two. In Seattle, we are located in the heart of West Seattle at the corner of California Avenue & Charlestown, just minutes from downtown and beautiful Alki beach. In Bellingham, we’ll be in the heart of the arts district, just a block from the Mount Baker theater.
