Please note that we use a noise monitoring device in the home. It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations; it simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels) to prevent parties.

Access to the backyard between the DADU and the house is not included.

A refundable $250 damage deposit is required for your stay. This deposit helps cover any potential damages beyond normal wear and tear. It will be fully refunded 2 days after checkout, provided there are no damages or excessive cleaning required. We appreciate your care and respect for our home!

TERMS OF SERVICE
To abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, pass through our verification portal and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check.

Please be advised that all guests will be required to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:

A Detached Accessory Dwelling Unit (DADU) is a smaller, independent residential dwelling unit located on the same lot as a stand-alone (i.e., detached) single-family home.

ACCESSING THE PROPERTY
This is listing a DADU. It is located behind the main house which is occupied full time by the owners.
You must access it from the alley behind the main house.
Please note that the unit is located above the garage for the house. Garage parking is not included with the unit.

REST AND RECHARGE:

OCCUPANCY:
This unit allows 4 overnight guests.

PARKING:
There is plenty of free street parking at and around the house.
There is no parking onsite.

GATHERINGS:
We know you are coming to Seattle to have a good time, but out of respect to our neighbors, this property has a strict No Party policy.

QUIET HOURS:
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Guests are responsible for the conduct of all persons in their unit.

PETS:
There are no pets allowed at the house. There will be a penalty fee if it is determined that there were pets were in the home during your reservation period.

SMOKING:
Smoking of any kind including vaping is not allowed in the home. There will be a penalty fee if it is determined that there was smoking in the home during your reservation period.

MINIMUM AGE:
Guests named on the reservation must be 18 years or older. By booking a reservation, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity and authority to enter into a contract. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:
Check-in time is at or after 4pm and check-out time is 10am. Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability and can be requested one day before. Additional fees may apply.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
>> There is an office on the ground floor of the DADU which is used by the owner. They may from time to time use the office space but they will not use or access the upstairs living quarters. Your access to the DADU does not include this office area.
>> Access to the backyard between the DADU and the house is not included.
