The house is exactly as described in the listing; it is a quiet and safe place. The cleanliness inside the house was excellent, but the balcony and the chairs facing the lake were covered in cobwebs. The lake is small, so when motorboats pass by, they create waves that disrupt a peaceful swim. The neighbor constantly smokes marijuana—something I detest.

Nice house – newer kitchen appliances, clean bathroom and good place to park outside. We had some issues with the door access code and WiFi but host was prompt in communicating and resolving these reasonably. The upper level gets super stuffy in late afternoons esp in hot summer, the host sent a fan and that was helpful. No major concerns other than these.

The space was adequate and the location is central but overall the condo isn’t a great fit for a family with a young kid. It’s pretty cramped and was difficult to childproof so we spent most of our time outside. We had hoped to use the yard but the grass was poorly maintained and full of goat heads that made it unusable. Fortunately it’s near the beach (though be prepared, the walk is longer than we thought and it’s much easier to drive), and easy access to restaurants and shops. The unit was clean and the host was communicative.

Amazing location and home! You can tell that the home is a special place for family that owns it. It is well cared for and well stocked. Chef’s kitchen for sure!! The lake is incredible! One of the best I have ever visited with the fresh water and gorgeous views. The neighborhood is super friendly but quiet. At night in the summer the air is fresh, cool and crisp so having the windows open makes for the perfect, restful sleep!! The beds are super cozy. The entire home was extremely clean and tidy! Again, it is very well loved by the owners and management. I host two of my homes and I would say this is a top location on Airbnb!!

We loved our stay at this lovely property, the view was amazing and peaceful, and the kitchen was so spacious and well set up. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were super clean and tidy. The host was very responsive and friendly. Walking down to the waterfront was nice for daily walks to get coffee. Highly recommend!

This was a last minute reservation that they were able accommodate even though they were clear that the WiFi had gone down earlier in the day. Plenty of sleep options and a beautiful patio with beach access and views that were lovely! And the hot tub provided privacy and a nice way to end the night.

This is a lovely rental! Exactly as pictured with amazing access to the beachfront (<5 min walk). We found that the beach was better here than any of the typical public beach access places nearby to drive to and went 2x a day. Kids loved the sand, kites and she'll collecting especially.
The games room really was worth is for our kids as they had a blast when we were in the house. The couch was very comfy and there was even a toys nook in the bunkbed room.
Be advised that its a little tricky to find though as you have a shared driveway to head down and over a small wooden bridge. There are a few houses at the end of this driveway with this one being on the left. Although there are two other properties nearby, it does feel very secluded and private still.
This more than met our expectations for the week we spent here, and in hindsight we are glad we spent more foe this place than some of the other rentals we were looking at in the Ocean Shores area. We highly recommend this place

The place was literally two blocks from the park area and an easy walk to the Space Needle, Pop Museum, and Gardens. About a 15 min car service ride to the Market with tons of food and shops. Everything worked fine for our group of 5. Highly recommend, and will stay again the next we visit Seattle. Thanks!!

Peaceful and beautiful! While the resort is leans vintage, it’s also what makes it special. Reading the journal entries of those who stayed in Unit 21 from 1991 or so, made it clear that this is a place where special moments occur and memories made. Many of the entries state that families return countless of times! My 2-night stay with my young grandchildren was perfect. The unit was super clean and the office staff friendly and helpful! The sofa bed was comfy and the kiddos thought it great fun as they’d never seen a pull out sofa before! The bedroom bed was also very comfortable. The full kitchen was great to have, just remember to bring all you need for your planned meals. The kids loved playing in the sand by the river, walking the beach, playing horseshoes and painting rocks. The painted rocks that cover the property, again, reflected the many who enjoyed this resort before us. The kids and I plan on returning and making more of our own memories!

Positive:
The house was in a great neighborhood and close to beach access. It was only an 8 minute drive to downtown Ocean Shores. There was plenty of space for the 7 members of my family. The hot tub was clean and worked great. There was a slight problem with the internet, but thanks to the onsight manager, it was able to be fixed pretty quickly. We loved the big kitchen area and open dining room with plenty of space for dinners, games and crafts. All in all, we had a great time!
Negative:
Check-in at 5pm was so late! We hoped to get the early check-in but even after paying for that it was not available. There are some things that need updated to make the stay even better, for example: the furniture, only one TV with very little cable channels and no ability to stream, limited kitchen cookware & utensils (good thing I brought my own pan), the hot tub cover is really heavy and split in half making it a two person job to take off and on. Also, the laundry room connects to the owners house, where the manager stays (although there were no issues, it was not mentioned on the website).

Honestly, there is nothing I didn’t like. But I would advise that they could consider putting a tall mirror by the big plant in the living room.

We really enjoyed the spaciousness of the house, the beautiful ocean view, and the many amenities provided. The location is also wonderful—quiet and peaceful, while still only about a 5-minute drive from Seabrook, where you can easily find a grocery store and restaurants.
That said, the house could definitely use some better maintenance. The entrance was difficult to find because of the overgrown trees and plants, one of the shower handles had been replaced with a pair of pliers, and the blinds were missing in the kids’ room, so we ended up using sheets to cover the windows for privacy and sleep.
Overall, this is a great house in a lovely location with a lot of potential. We just wish it were maintained a little better, as a few improvements would make the stay much more comfortable and enjoyable.

Our stay at the condo at the HiTide resort was amazing! We’d been on the road for over a month, and although we booked a two night stay, we were offered a third night with a discount and immediately accepted because the area was so relaxing, private and welcoming. The beach access is tremendous, with easy walks over short dunes on maintained paths through sand grass. The staff were all incredibly friendly, always ready with information, suggestions and checking to see if we had everything we needed – without over intruding. While at a local restaurant, I mentioned to the waitress that we were st staying at the HiTide. Her response was, “Oh, that’s so good. It’s the only authentic place left around here.” The price was incredibly reasonable and the accommodations exceeded our expectations, and the privacy, beauty, uniqueness and access to the beach were extraordinary! Also, I’ve never seen so many sand dollars!

Positive:
It was a cozy place and worked out for the 5 nights I stayed.
Negative:
No AC or fans provided so it was always hot in the condo. Only the bedroom window opens, the sliding door could be useful if there was a screen on it. Kitchen window doesn’t open, so leaves you with just the bedroom window to open. Also had no wifi, no internet the entire stay. They said they were working on it but never got it working.

We had such a wonderful getaway here. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to unplug from the busyness of everyday life, this is it. The photos honestly don’t do it justice. the property is right on the water, with beautiful views and such a quiet, private atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax, recharge, and just enjoy being present. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape.

We enjoyed the great proximity to the beach which is accessible via a walking path. Their pet policy was confusing as I asked if they would allow us to bring our dog which they allowed for a fee. But when I asked to pay the fee they said that dogs weren’t allowed. So they ended up allowing our dog based on the previous communication indicating that I was ok. This place needs some help with curb appeal and discussion with long term tenants who leave clutter around the place.

Overall our stay at this house worked out. It started rough and ended well. We appreciated the host’s positive and prompt response. First, the pros:
Pros:
Very clean!
Relatively private
Comfortable beds
Comfortable couch in living room, nice place to hang out.
Nice trail access to the beach.
Fun game room with something for everyone.
Cons:
Properties along driveway before the house were sketchy. We had no issues but it gave us pause.
The water tasted and smelled really bad. We ended up buying water for drinking.
The host bills themselves as luxury property hosts but this property is not quite that.
The outdoor grill was not available for our use since it was broken before we arrived. While we were there the fridge broke and we lost our food. The host responded promptly and agreed to a refund. Everything else was in working order.

We had a wonderful stay at this home and would definitely stay here again! The home was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space to relax. We especially enjoyed spending time on the deck, and the location was perfect for us since it was close to family we were visiting.
The check-in and check-out process was incredibly easy and made our stay completely stress-free. The home had everything we needed, and it was a great place to come back to after exploring Seattle each day.

Spacious home with an open floor plan and great territorial and water view of the ship channel. The kitchen is really nice especially if you want to cook! The home is well stocked, the host was very accommodating whenever needed and Queen Anne is a lovely neighborhood in Seattle. The place is quiet, peaceful and in a safe and beautiful area.

What a beautiful little space right on the lake. It was wonderful to live in a space where we were lake people for a short period of time- the private dock and shore space with the fire pit is dreamy! Great access to the Hood Canal but you’ll want to hunker down and be on the lake in this gem.

A few things were reported: a broken Keurig, very cold downstairs where second bedroom and bath were, whereas the upstairs tended to be too warm. There was one dish towel!!!
The gate had to be lifted up to enter the side of house so it didn’t stick on cobblestones. One cobblestone was very loose once inside the gate-crooked and uneven stones made it difficult not to trip.
But all in all, we were pleased with our stay and would recommend this home to others.

We had a great stay and the location was perfect to visit both the Paradise and Sunrise regions of Mount Rainier. The cabin was super cozy and accommodated our family of 5 well. The loft beds were fun! The host was very responsive and checked in to make sure we were all settled. Highly recommend!
