Marlene’s Market & Deli
I’ve known about Marlene’s in Tacoma for several decades as my mother used to go there back in the 1980’s and 1990’s, and I have stopped by once or twice with her back then.
Fast forward to the last couple of months, I have visited there for soup and salad for lunch when shopping and or running errands at the Tacoma Mall and other south Tacoma locations.
So far, they have always had a delicious non dairy soup choice, and their salads are great with plenty of choices and condiments. This sure beats all the fast food and big chain restaurant options which overfeed you anyway and the quality isn’t all that great most of the time. The people working at Marlene’s are nice too. Will be back from time to time when in the area. It’s great to have a place that older folks like me can enjoy!
