Does this apply to Airbnb and VRBO guests too?

Yes. Every booking is screened and protected, no matter where it comes from.

Can I opt out of coverage?

No. Guest protection is a standard across all Recreation properties. It ensures consistency and peace of mind for every owner.

How is this different from Airbnb and VRBO’s stay insurance?

Airbnb’s AirCover and VRBO’s stay protection are valuable tools, and are often our first line of coverage, and when necessary, it works in conjunction with Guesty Shield stay protection to ensure proper claim handling and resolution.
