This was a wonderful stay. Inside It was accommodating to a group of 8. Sleeping options, rooms to spend time in, options for games, and provided necessities that came in handy (ex. Toothbrushes). The location was very peaceful and quiet. We were close to hikes in the area so we also got to spend time outside. Host was very responsive and attentive to questions I had. Instructions were clear on how to check in and overall how to navigate our stay. I really recommend this stay. Especially for those that might want to enjoy the ski season.

The location was perfect for visiting Mt Rainier and Crystal Mt. Scenery was gorgeous with the White River flowing right behind the house. We were mesmerized by the milky white color of the River and beauty of the surroundings. Extremely peaceful and restful. We saw elk in the back yard!!!!

Had a couple of maintenance issues which happens in every house but team was responsive and made it right.

It was pretty great and perfect for walking

Positive: Quiet! No car noises, people noises – just peaceful sounds of the ocean and birds. Fresh air! No pungent/toxic artificial fragrances – in the bedding or in the space overall. Great view! The hi tide is furthest north on the road and the building faces north- so there was a clear view of the ocean and woodlands on the adjacent tribal lands. Comfortable! Both beds were very comfortable, black out curtains kept the space dark. Slept great the whole trip. Negative: Nothing it was great.

We had one significant issue, but the rental company was able to get it taken care of for us and offered a discount. The place is just as pictured, beautiful setting, deer every morning. Two of the mattresses are firm and comfortable. One mattress is softer. Just noting for those w back issues. I asked the rental company to redo the numbers on the mailbox, as it’s very hard to see surrounded by woods, and the numbers are faded. Google and Apple Maps do not pull up the correct location. We found the mailbox our third pass-through the road.

We loved our stay in the modern craftsman! The property is so unique and well-maintained. The bathrooms/kitchen provide all of the necessities for a cozy weekend in the mountains. The furniture is minimalist, but just right. We had a couple of hiccups in our stay that were a bit frustrating. We arrived later in the evening after work and the code that was given to the front door was inaccurate so there was a lot of unnecessary communication about how to get in. We were also given the opportunity to do a late checkout for a fee and assumed the payment was taken from our CC on the account. Late on Saturday evening, when we were out of service on a hike, we got a message that checkout was at 10 AM. When we responded, we were told that we needed to fill out our CC information at a new link before that was granted…but we were in the woods and didn’t have wallets. There was way too much unnecessary back-and-forth about it. These types of things should be settled before the stay.

Perfect perfect perfect location. We were in town for a girls’ weekend/book club “meeting” (hahah) and it was perfectly located by the Festhalle where the author event was happening that we were in town for. Plus, it was SO walkable to everything cool. We were a group of 6 and there was just enough space for all of us. The pull out couch was even kind of comfortable and we couldn’t feel the springs – so that’s a win for us middle ager ladies. Hahah. Everything was super clean, fun decor and overall, very comfortable. Great hospitality too – the host was super responsive! Thank YOU!

Great location and price point.

What a beautiful home with a beautiful view!!! We had an amazing time with the family and enjoyed the beautiful ocean view of the maestre bedroom!!!! The kids had lots of fun in the hot tub and enjoyed the waves of the ocean!!!! The house was very clean and the host was very friendly!!! Will definitely be coming back!!!

We enjoyed a quick weekend at this lovely house. The location is amazing and the house met all of our needs.

it was a very peaceful space. short walk to the coastal waters.. beautiful neighborhood.

Home is very nice and well equipped and very clean. Would have been 5 stars except we were given wrong door code and were on call waiting outside in the rain with our luggage until the call center responded and then had to find a code that would work. The electrical outlets for the coffee machine, toaster, and kettle were not working and it took almost two days to send someone after we called and they were unable to fix it. Ended up with an extension chord.

The cabin and surroundings are beautiful. We had a bit of trouble on check in with one of the bedroom doors being locked. It got resolved eventually but we had to get escalated from the office staff to a manager. Once that happened the situation got resolved quickly but I wish the front desk staff had a bit more information.

Great location, great hosts. Coincidentally, we had a smoke detector start chirping on the 2nd day there during a long holiday weekend. It was at the top of the ceiling in the vaulted room, no way to safely reach it or I would have used a chair and got it, but that was impossible. The hosts responded immediately and sent a worker out, on Labor Day weekend, to fix it. We love the house and the location. Also, a hint for others: ocean crest resort is right next door, and they have stairs going right down to the beach. And a great restaurant. Thank you again!

The home was cozy, comfortable, and very well taken care of. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and close to the beach, which made the location really convenient. It’s fairly unassuming from the outside but warm and inviting once you’re inside. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
