Thanks! So happy you loved it.
The St. Claire exceeded our expectations! Very clean, large open space, extremely responsive and helpful host! We would definitely stay here again! We enjoyed the walkable area, and friendly people, the speakeasy was a fun experience!
We had such a great stay! We were so comfortable and there was so much space to spread out. Thank you so much for the perfect stay!

Great you enjoyed your stay! Hope to see you again.
The place was very comfortable. The beds were super cozy, and the apartment had everything we needed. Shops and everything else were close by, making it very convenient.
位置很优越,在UO旁边。很整洁干净。床上用品全是专业级的。有时能遇到好的价格,要看运气。店主性格很好,如果更直接点更好了
Love our stay :)
House matched the description. Refrigerator was inoperative. We were provided a mini fridge that unfortunately did not accommodate the amount of groceries we purchased before arrival for our week stay. Host was responsive, but didn’t communicate well.
The fenced yard and lack of any house rules was great if you have a dog. The kitchen was well appointed, although we had to wash some pots before use.
When one of us went to bed the first night, we realized the bed was broken. It turned out after much back and forth, the company knew the bed was broken before we got there. After we suggested it, they finally ordered an air mattress 5 days later. They were communicative (with some prodding) and did give us a discount.
The king sized bed had no mattress protector, and general supplies were lacking. There was only one extra roll of TP, no surface cleaners, no broom, etc. They did get these to us.
The beds lacked box springs, so they are very low to the floor. The stairs down to the basement is super narrow and steep.
They did not always warn us when service people were coming (like the gardeners).
The listing mentions a garage, there isn't one (although there is one off-street space.)
Overall, a very mixed bag.
Thanks for your review. We're addressing the issues you raised.
This was my first truly bad Airbnb experience. Place is in beautiful location. Enjoyed a previous stay. But upon arrival this time, an alarm was going off. (More minor, but also found TP in toilet, an expired water filter, outdoor furniture cushions that had been left outside to mildew, etc.) Would have dealt fine if not for the alarm, which I finally traced to the basement. I couldn’t reach it. Noise made it very difficult to relax or work, and it was unclear if I was even safe to be there. By the second evening, management had still not yet addressed. So I packed and headed home before bedtime. After many calls and messages, they have only agreed to reimburse me for one of the three nights. I feel this was unethical.
We're sorry you had such a difficult stay. The alarm issue is unacceptable, and we're working to fix this.
Thank you
Positive:
The usage and modification of a historic building. The location was great, although I think there could be much more in that area when the city decides what the future is for the Historic Bridge. I was very disappointed when I found out it was not even open to pedestrian traffic! The area has unlimited potential for being a Really Great Place to stay with more restaurants and shops in walking distance. The fact that the Historic Bridge was closed, REALLY is hurting that area in my opinion. Living in an area that has reinvented itself in Carmel, IN., I've seen what doing things the right way, like pedestrian trails, promoting, and having a variety of things to do with a diversity feel about it snowball things exponentially! This area has unlimited potential if planned out and promoted the right way.
Negative:
Seemed like some of the area is just at a standstill with vacant old buildings and the bridge closed with no signage or information of its future of possibly reopening. People are drawn to water especially in historic areas. Seems like hearing from some of the locals during my stay, that there was no hurry or surprised to them that things are just at a standstill.... That doesn't seem like a positive public attitude for the area, which is sad because it does seem like it has great potential.

Room is a little small but everything is perfect, it’s very clean and they’ve got everything you need, also very well-located.
the whole experience was seamless and enjoyable

Great to hear you enjoyed it!
Great location in downtown Frankfurt. Five minutes from Buffalo Trace. The St. Clair is more of a studio apartment/hotel, just without a front desk. Great staff at the connected Howser Tavern downstairs. There is a private speakeasy for St. Clair guests with a secret entrance…just tell the bartender the password. Nice kitchenette if you need it, but there are plenty of great places to eat nearby. Free parking in the garage across the street in marked spaces on the third floor. We had a great meal at Limewater on the way back from Buffalo Trace.
