10 of us stayed at the house for my son’s wedding and it was very comfortable – plenty of room. The house is very private and the gardens are gorgeous. You can stroll along the grounds and even visit some chickens. It rained every day but our last afternoon, but on that sunny day, we all gathered outside and it was lovely.
What I loved the most about the house was the huge amount of space. Even though there were 10 of us, we all had so much space, you felt like you could ‘get away’ if needed. Having two kitchens, especially two fridges was great! The review states there are no spices, which I was worried about, but there were all sorts of spices, including coffee, tea, etc. The kitchen is very well stocked.
The karaoke machine was challenging to get going and it seems to be only in Chinese (this was probably a benefit for the whole group 😉 There was no iron but when I mentioned that, one was delivered. They really need to hang secure curtains in the master bathroom, behind the tub.
This house is new, clean, and LOVELY! There were many thoughtful details and high quality items. The views were great, the beds were comfy, the street was quiet, and it’s just a short walk through the neighborhood to the beach. The kitchen, dining area, and living area are perfect for a large group to relax, hang out, cook, and eat together. There is also a garage game room, not shown in the photos, with a foosball table and shuffleboard. We had a great time here!
Positive:
We love the location. Beautiful area. Many things to do within walking distance. Several restaurants, bakeries and bourbon bars. The distilleries are very close as well. The St Clair itself is very comfortable and quiet. The Howser on the ground floor is the best bourbon bar in the area. Patci and crew took care of us every night after our adventures. This was our second trip to the St Clair and we are planning our third already.
Negative:
The only thing that we didn’t like was our unit didn’t have a toaster. Only a slight inconvenience.
