Positive:
The location was right in the middle of the walking streets /downtown of Frankfort. Parking across the street very easy.
The room itself was great-old brick walls, funky fixtures and a view to an old-school theatre/marquee across the St.
Even got a text while there asking if our car was the one with keys left in it in the garage-soo personal!
Negative:
The ‘speakeasy’ access downstairs was cool but prices were outrageous and we were never given a menu/price list – just a recommendation. Ask for menu card before ordering.
The area and property are beautiful, peaceful and very safe. Downtown Ballard and numerous, great local restaurants are all short drives away.
The kitchen is a good sized space and was well supplied making cooking easy.
The property manager is great at proactive communication and also very responsive.
There is a good collection of games, books, toys and puzzles. The tree house was a big hit with my granddaughter!
We absolutely loved our stay here—such a wonderful place for a family! Our daughter was completely enchanted by the tree house, which added a magical touch to the whole experience.
As expected with outdoor spaces, there was a bit of dust, but nothing that took away from the charm. The only thing to note is that the parking area can be a little tricky, especially if you’re arriving with two vehicles. We brought a Kia Sportage Plug-in Hybrid and a Honda Accord. Since the charging port is on the passenger side, it was a bit challenging to plug in and still have space to get out of the car. We made it work, though—just a heads-up for anyone in a similar situation.
Overall, a fantastic stay and we’d definitely come back!
