The studio room is nice and offers a lot! The water pressure was amazing, the bed and sofa were comfy. My only complaint is the noise level of other guests. You can really hear everything in this building and we could hear the street noise. The owners should consider providing ear plugs and or white noise machine.
We initially booked at a local hotel for our quick getaway to the bourbon trail. We found this hidden gem searching for a more relaxing atmosphere. The St Clair is in a perfect location in the downtown Frankfort area. The studio style apartment was exactly what we we needed for our needs. The bourbon bar in the St Clair was staffed with the friendliest people. We spent an evening sipping great pours and making new friends. A few secrets we discovered are the main reasons we will always return whenever we are in the area. Thank you for a great getaway!
Absolutely stunning unit with a gorgeous couch, comfy bed and a great shower. Unfortunately we booked on a night when the bar downstairs was closed for a private event and since that is where you have to go to gain access to the speakeasy and we weren’t trying to crash someone’s party, as much as I was looking forward to it, no speakeasy for us. And between the live band and the people partying outside in the street, there was no point in trying to watch TV or sleep until about midnight. The location is super walkable and the area has so many beautiful old buildings, some with amazing artwork pained on them, and plenty of places to eat or drink or snack and a bunch of cute little shops. . I would definitely stay again but only after confirming there wouldn’t be a live band playing downstairs 😉

My husband and I normally stay on the other side of Frankfort for our annual trip but decided to try the downtown area this time. We are so glad that we did! It’s a fantastic central location if you’re exploring the Bourbon Trail.
This space is exactly as described and was so unique! We loved the combination of new amenities and historic preservation of the space. The bar downstairs and the speakeasy were a great addition. My multiple questions were answered very quickly and kindly.
Fantastic place! We loved the location, walkable to all of downtown’s many restaurants and bars. Very close to Bourbon on the Banks. Close to several distilleries. The apartment was nicely decorated and had most anything you needed…hair dryers, irons, shampoo, conditioner, soap. We loved the HOWSER bar and the speakeasy. Would definitely stay here again.
The space was just as pictured, very open and well-decorated with easy check-in and check-out. The bed was very comfortable and TV was huge, and having the kitchen area was great! We could hear some noise/movement from our upstairs neighbors, and the couch was short on the back and a little too small for two people. Overall, we appreciated the quick communication and awesome location and would stay here again!
I was looking for an inexpensive room for an overnight stay while I help my daughter move in to new apt. This place was convenient to downtown. Ryan was very quick to respond to questions. Clean single bedroom on 1st floor with shared bathroom across the hall. Easy door code lock so I didn’t have to carry physical key. I broke my foot prior to travel and accessible bathroom with fold-down wall shower chair, hand held shower head, and wall handles – awesome. I only wish parking was provided, esp ADA. Street parking was hit or miss. Parking lots only 1-2 blocks away but relatively far when on crutches. I would stay here again!
This was the perfect place for a quick stop while driving through (though it would be nice for longer stays as well). It is dorm like style, each door with private / lock entry and a bathroom on each floor. The room was inviting, I didn’t have to fight for the bathroom, and the kitchen / supplies was very helpful.
Other than a small discrepancy between the instructions sent by Ryan and what the Airbnb app listed (as far as check in and check-out times), what I encountered in the Airbnb was exactly as described! It was perfect for what I needed! And it was affordable, considering the price of other Airbnb‘s and even hotels and motels for downtown Eugene… Good bang for your buck —and then some!
The host was very responsive even before we arrived. We had a lot of questions about the property and surrounding area. The house itself was in a secluded area, but as long as you stay on the main road (lower clubhouse dr), it will be easy to find. The kitchen was great and newly updated, parts of the house looked like it’s going through renovations. the exterior was not ready for us due to rain in the prior days but the host send someone right over to clean everything and have it ready for us. Jacuzzi time was the best. We also loved the 3 king sized beds and spacious upstairs bathroom. We visited lots of wineries, breweries and had the best time in historic Harper’s Ferry.
