The host was quick to respond to any question or request. My boyfriend and I both got sick before our trip and the host had absolutely no problem pushing our check-in by a few days. It is a small, older home but we felt like we were at home. It was very comfortable and a fun vibe with how they decorated. We visited in December and it was way too cold to enjoy the cowboy pool or backyard but everything was great with the house. Thank you for the great communication!
Cabin was beautiful. Nice quiet cul de sac. Easy to find. Beds were clean, bathroom and kitchen clean.
There is a nice room at entrance for prepping your gear before going out to ski or hike in summers. It’s a great spot to get out of your gear too. Has washer and dryer near by to help clean you stuff. Kitchen and pantry has plenty of utensils and dishware to suit our needs. We cooked our meals there and had no issues with finding everything. Parking wise, the driveway is a steeper hill. With lots of snow, you can fit 3 cars in line behind each other. No room for 2 cars at top (there was lots of snow) they had snow shovels on site, we used this to clear driveway to make it easier getting in and out, which is expected during heavier snowfall days.
Excellent host, beautiful space. Walked to dinner and a couple of bars. Parking was included and close to our place. Friendly staff at the bar and gave us great recommendations for dinner and drinks as did the host. Close to Buffalo Trace our reason for traveling. We will be back and book with Saint Clair again! Thank you! And highly recommend
This place is a delight. Great appliances, and a really well stocked kitchen. (Including a mixer!) The hosts were super responsive when minor issues occurred.
One note—You’ll definitely want a car during your stay here. A cafe and a pizza place (both phenomenal) are an easy walk, but that’s about it.
I definitely hope to stay here again.
The St. Clair was a great stay for our weekend getaway! The garage parking, central location to bars and restaurants and updated space made it a very enjoyable stay. The host was responsive to our questions and gave thorough instructions ahead of time. The room was spacious and beautiful! We look forward to staying here again in the warmer season.
Do yourself a favor and stay at this gorgeous cabin in the woods. The design of the house and interior decor is gorgeous (cabin is featured in the Dwell magazine) House was very well stocked with all the essentials and extras. Also it was perfectly clean, I have stayed at many places and this was the cleanest.
The real wood burning fireplace, the big windows, the host, everything was top notch. We were missing some wine glasses, so they delivered wine glasses and a bottle of wine same night. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back ♥️
This airbnb was perfect!! The location was top tier perfectly in between city hall and penns landing , everything you need for could want is not even 20 minutes away and it’s all walkable! There is a mini market next door and it has ALL the essentials and good snack/meal options! The airbnb was very clean and fresh. we definitely felt right at home! It is a noisy area but that is to be expected anywhere in the city ! We def recommend this airbnb to anyone !!
Beautiful place! looks exactly like the pictures. The front door is tricky to get in you have to pull the door hard, also I was having a hard time finding my apartment because I was being told it was on the 4th floor, but I eventually found it, it’s located on the 5th floor 🙂 Other than that everything else was wonderful!!
I so would like to give the St Clair a 5 star review, it’s a very cool place, decor was nice. Our bedrooms were clean, bathroom was clean but housekeeper forgot kitchen. Dirty refrigerator, someone else’s food in cupboard and frig., and garbage under sink from previous rental. I assume this was a one time issue, I would stay again and hope it was😊.
Perfect getaway cabin in the snow! We traveled with 2 adults, 2 kids, and 2 elderly. The driveway is very very steep, but once we got my parents in the house, they didn’t need to leave. The cabin was very comfortable and well stocked. Very comfortable and homey. Only a few minutes drive to the ski resort. The fireplace was exquisite and made the experience ideal. The kids were able to play in the snow in the back of the house. We asked for late check-out and the hosts were very accommodating. I would absolutely recommend this cabin!
This is a beautiful rental in a great location, but we could hear every step someone took in the room above us. We turned up the volume on the tv to help drown out some of the noise, but we could still hear them moving around throughout the night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but may try a different room next time.
We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were extremely responsive and hospitable. They cared very much about our needs and were as helpful as they could be. The house is very close to the mountains and very easy to access. The only issue we had was that the place was a bit dated and smaller than what it looked like in the pictures. The downstairs playroom was fun, but needed a lot of work. Each piece of equipment down there was broken in some way, but we did play a LOT of ping pong regardless of the broken table and had tons of fun. A few other things broke when we were there, but it did not affect our stay too much. Definitely worth going to, but good to know what you’re getting into.
Wonderful location within walking distance to the best museums and quirky places Frankfort has to offer. Loved that there was room service from the bar downstairs. Had to unfortunately cut my stay short due to an impending weather advisory and was extremely pleased that the host understood and graciously refunded the remaining nights. Wonderful hospitality is hard to come by so I can’t explain how much that means. I will definitely be back before spring and wouldn’t plan on staying anywhere else!
